Matthew Graham was reluctant to allow his wife to record him as he opened his results from the Maryland bar exam. She was insistent. Now he’s glad he did.

The video was captured by Graham, 29, who graduated from the University of Baltimore Law School in December, as he opened the email. His wife, Ciara Graham, 29, and their 11-month-old daughter, Celine, stood over his shoulder.

“I just felt overwhelmed,” said Graham, who was in tears before he even clicked the results that day, April 21. “I was anxious to finally see it.”

A private member’s bill that proposes changes to the Criminal Code of Canada and the Sex Offender Information Registration Act has been introduced in Parliament and has the family of two Alberta murder victims calling for lawmakers to support it.

NLRB General Counsel Issues Memo Targeting Noncompete Agreements for Nonmanagerial and Nonsupervisory Employees

The National Labor Relations Board’s top lawyer, Jennifer Abruzzo, issued a General Counsel memo today instructing the Labor Board’s Regional Directors of her position that noncompete clauses for employees protected by the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA) (ie., nonmanagerial and nonsupervisory employees) in employment contracts and severance agreements violate federal labor law except in limited circumstances.
