Summary

  • On 20 December 2022, the German Federal Labor Court (“BAG”) ruled that the entitlement to statutory minimum vacation is only subject to the three-year year statute of limitations if the employer has (i) previously informed its employees about their specific vacation entitlements and that the vacation will lapse if they do not take it and (ii) the employee then freely decides not to take them (See judgment – 9 AZR 266/20).

Windsor landlords protest rental licensing pilot project

It was a quiet yet passionate protest in front of the city hall Tuesday as about 100 people showed up to share their objection to the city’s Rental Licensing Bylaw.

“A criminal records check. I’ve been a landlord for 30 years in this city. I’m getting a criminal record check?” property owner Diane Chauvin questioned.

Under the city’s new bylaw, a criminal records check is necessary for landlords in wards one and two in order to obtain a Residential Rental License. The fee, plus inspections and work needed could cost over $1,000.

Jonathan Majors Hires ‘RHOSLC’ Jen Shah’s Lawyer To Fight Criminal Charges

CreedIII star Jonathan Majors has hired a criminal defense lawyer with ties to the Real Housewives franchising, RadarOnline.com has learned.

On Sunday, New York criminal defense attorney Priya Chaudhry released a statement on behalf of Majors one day after he was taken into custody.

Chaudhry defended Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Jen Shah in her criminal case accusing her of fraud. The Bravo star was sentenced to a 6.5-year sentence.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Majors was arrested over the weekend on charges of strangulation, assault and harassment.

New prosecutor added to US Attorney’s Office in Martinsburg | USAO-NDWV
